Britney Garcia

Hola!

Ever since I was little, I still remember the first day my older sister bought me my first makeup product. It was a clear lip gloss from Target that my parents finally said yes to. I remember holding it like it was treasure. After that, I was hooked. I would sit on her bed and watch her do her makeup, completely mesmerized. Eventually that turned into hours on YouTube watching makeup tutorials from the original beauty guru era, then practicing on myself in the mirror, blending and re blending like it was my full time job.

What started as a pastime became a hobby. And now I want it to become my profession.

That clear lip gloss was just the beginning. Somewhere along the way, it transformed into bold red lipstick, which is now my signature. If you see me, there is a high chance I am wearing red. The gloss was my introduction to beauty, but the red lip is my statement. It is classic, a little powerful, and very me.

My parents, immigrants from Durango, México, are my rock. They keep me grounded and humble, and they remind me that anything worth doing is worth doing with heart. They have always told me to work hard at whatever I am passionate about. That freedom to dream big while staying rooted in where I come from means everything to me.

I love to travel, take pictures of the most random beautiful moments, and really live in the present. I have two cats, and yes, I will always psst psst at a cat outside and secretly hope the cat distribution system chooses me again. It is a lifestyle.

I am passionate about immigrant rights because it is personal. I care deeply about helping youth feel seen and supported. I am equally passionate about unleashing my creative side and turning makeup into art, storytelling, and confidence.

I am currently a student at USC Annenberg earning my M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising, and I am excited to merge creativity with strategy. I want to build brands that feel human, inclusive, and powerful. I want to create work that reflects culture, community, and the little girl who once held that clear lip gloss like it was magic.

This is just the beginning 💄✨
