Britney Garcia

¡Hola!

I still remember the first day my older sister bought me my very first makeup product. A clear lip gloss from Target, one my parents had finally said yes to. I held it like it was a treasure.

After that, I was hooked. I’d sit on her bed and watch her do her makeup, completely mesmerized. That eventually turned into hours on YouTube deep in the original beauty guru era, then practicing on myself in the mirror, blending and reblending like it was my full-time job.

What started as a pastime became a hobby. And now I’m turning it into a profession.

That clear lip gloss was just the beginning. Somewhere along the way it transformed into bold red lipstick, which is now my signature. If you see me, there’s a very good chance I’m wearing red. The gloss introduced me to beauty, but the red lip is my statement. Classic, a little powerful, and very me.

My parents immigrated from Durango, México, and they are my rock. They keep me grounded, they keep me humble, and they’ve always reminded me that anything worth doing is worth doing with heart. They gave me the freedom to dream big while staying rooted in where I come from, and that means everything to me.

Outside of makeup and school, I love to travel, photograph the most random beautiful moments, and really live in the present. I have two cats, and yes, I will absolutely psst psst at any cat I pass outside and secretly hope the cat distribution system chooses me again.

I care deeply about immigrant rights because it’s personal. I care about helping young people feel seen and supported. And I care about using creativity, makeup, storytelling, and strategy to build something that actually means something.

I’m currently earning my M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising at USC Annenberg, learning to merge creativity with strategy. I want to build brands that feel human, inclusive, and powerful. I want to create work that reflects culture, community, and the little girl who once held a clear lip gloss like it was magic.
